After googling this issue repeatedly and coming up empty handed for a viable solution that DOES NOT involve disabling vsync which causes horrible screen tearingI tinkered around with my NVIDIA Control Panel and found settings that fixes the Terraria mouse input lag problem for myself and possibly for other users as well.

For the experienced computer users, the short version of this solution is to disable Triple Buffering and to limit the program to only 1 pre-rendered frame at a time. For those who need a more verbose walkthrough, please continue reading. Select Manage 3D Settings in the menu column on the left.

Select the Program Settings tab There may be a delay while the control panel software scans your hard drive for installed programs. If you have a lot of games installed, this can take a while. Be patient. Launch Terraria and enjoy playing the game with a lag free mouse cursor.

If this fix works for you, please post a reply to keep this thread active in the forums to help others. Last edited by Rampheus ; 21 May, pm. Showing 1 - 15 of 48 comments. Has anyone else tried this and can verify the fix? Thanks for the help!
